Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 cup(s) basil leaves, tightly packed
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • ½ cup pine nuts or walnuts
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ¾ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Blend all ingredients in a blender and store in a cool place. Delicious as a spread, with soups, sauces, and on spaghetti. Fresh pesto tastes best, so always make small batches!
