Basil – Pineapple – Sorbet

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 pineapples, ripe
  • 2 bunches of basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 15 minutes

A slightly different dessert

Puree the flesh of one pineapple along with 1.5 bunches of basil. Place in a metal bowl and freeze for 3 hours, stirring frequently with a whisk. Pour the almost solid sorbet into molds and freeze. Peel the second pineapple and cut it into wedges. Line a plate with the pineapple, then turn the sorbet out onto it and garnish with basil.
