Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g salt (sea salt, rock salt)
  • 120 g fresh basil
  • 4 garlic cloves

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 hours; Total time approx. 5 hours 20 minutes

Seasoning salt

Finely chop the basil leaves and garlic. Grind the garlic and some salt in a large mortar. Then add the basil, some more salt, and grind thoroughly. Mix everything with the remaining salt, spread it on a baking sheet, and dry in the oven at 30-35°C (use a thermometer to check the temperature). Pour the dried basil salt into a container – done!
