Obazda – Grupfter – Seasoned cheese, snack specialty

After purchasing the cheese, store it at room temperature for about a week. It needs to be fully ripe and already have a slightly strong smell before cooking. Bring the cream cheese to room temperature. Mash the Camembert and Brie thoroughly with a fork. Mix thoroughly with the cream cheese, softened butter, crushed garlic, and very finely diced (or preferably grated) onion. Add the spices and mix well, then season with salt and pepper. The Obazde should have a light brick red color. Chill in the refrigerator for a few hours. Serve with pretzels.
