BBQ Beans
The perfect bbq beans recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Pc. Onions
- 3 Pc. Clove of garlic
- 1 Can Canned red beans
- 1 Can Pelati, canned tomatoes without skin
- 500 g Ground beef
- 100 ml White wine
- 200 ml Meatsoup
- 1 tbsp Honey liquid
- Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil with a dollop of butter on the charcoal for about 15 minutes until they take on color.
- Add the seasoned mince to the onions and also fry until a fine crust forms … only then stir and deglaze with the white wine.
- Pelati tomatoes whole or crushed with a fork and add the drained beans. (Americans now add about 2 tbsp. Brown sugar). Cover with the meat stock and let stand indirectly on the embers with the lid closed for approx. 35 – 55 minutes. Stir a little over and over again.
- Once the tomatoes have melted and the broth has set a little, add a little honey and salt to taste.
- It goes well with some toasted bread and juicy spare ribs.
