Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 8 hot dog buns
- 800 g pork fillet(s)
- 1 cucumber(s)
- some BBQ sauce
- some salt and pepper
- some mayonnaise
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Cut the cucumber lengthwise into strips using a vegetable peeler. Place these in a bowl and season with salt. Mix lightly and set aside. Briefly warm the hot dog buns in the oven. Trim any remaining fat from the fillet and cut horizontally into thin slices. Season well with salt and pepper. Briefly fry the slices in a pan (they only need a few minutes per side). Remove from the pan and immediately spread a thick layer of BBQ sauce on both sides. Cut open the hot dog buns, but do not cut all the way through. Spread the inside with mayonnaise and top with two or three strips of cucumber. Then place a slice of fillet inside and enjoy.
