  • 250 g sweet paprika powder

  • 40 g sea salt
  • ½ tsp caraway seeds
  • ½ tsp peppercorns
  • 1 tsp garlic granules
  • 2 tbsp cane sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

for spare ribs

The barbecue or roasting seasoning (rub) is applied to the raw meat. A powdered form is required for this. Crush the candies and then dust them with sea salt, peppercorns, and caraway seeds. A food processor with a grinder (blender) can do this. Pour the mixture into a bowl. Then add the cane sugar and the remaining spices to the blender, mix, and grind. Finally, combine all the ingredients again and mix briefly. The finished rub can be placed in a screw-top jar and used as needed. It should keep for up to a year. As always, you can add or remove some ingredients to suit your taste. This rub was easy to make and tasted great.
