Bean Pot with Hearty Filler

The perfect bean pot with hearty filler recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Mixed minced meat
  • 500 g Beef goulash
  • 500 g Pork belly
  • Lard
  • 3 Cans Quail beans
  • 250 g Beans green
  • 2 piece Carrots
  • 3 piece Onion
  • 1 piece Celeriac
  • 1 Bit Fresh celery, approx. 200 gr.
  • 600 g Potatoes
  • 1 piece Garlic chinese
  • 1,5 liter Vegetable broth
  • Salt and pepper
  • Bay leaves
  • Savory
  • Dried marjoram
  1. Cut the goulash meat into small bite-sized pieces and fry them with a little clarified butter in a roaster on all sides. Then take out the pieces of meat and fry the minced meat in the roaster until it is crumbly. Then take it out as well and set it aside.
  2. Clean / peel the vegetables and cut everything into bite-sized pieces. Also cut the pork belly into thin strips
  3. Put a little more clarified butter in the roaster and heat, add the vegetables and let everything start well. Top up with the vegetable stock, add the meat, mince and pork belly, add some savory, marjoram, bay leaves and salt and pepper everything, put the lid on and simmer on a low heat for a good 30 minutes.
  4. In the meantime, put the beans in a sieve and rinse well and after about 30 minutes add them to the roasting pan.
  5. When the vegetables have “bite”, season the whole thing again to taste.
  6. Put the finished soup in a soup cup and now ….. enjoy your meal …..
