Bean Salad with Tomatoes and Cucumber

The perfect bean salad with tomatoes and cucumber recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kilogram Runner beans green fresh
  • 1 piece Cucumber fresh
  • 3 piece Tomatoes
  • 2 piece Small red onion
  • Oil
  • Vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Water
  • 1 piece Savory sprig or 1 teaspoon peeled savory
  1. Cut the beans into mouth-sized pieces. Heat water, add salt and savory. Add beans and cook until al dente. Drain and quench.
  2. Quarter tomatoes and cut into slices. Peel and slice the cucumber. Finely dice the onion.
  3. Mix the beans, tomatoes, onion and the cucumber. Mix with salt, pepper, a little water, oil and vinegar and season to taste. Possibly add a pinch of sugar.
  4. If you want, you can leave out some bacon and add it to the salad.
