Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 150 g powdered sugar
  • 150 g marzipan
  • 2 eggs
  • 375 g flour
  • n. B. cocoa powder
  • Jam, e.g. red currant
  • Chocolate glaze

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Warm the butter, eggs, and marzipan to room temperature. This can also be done briefly in the oven at 50°C. Preheat the oven to 180°C fan/convection oven. Beat the butter and icing sugar together until fluffy. In another bowl, add the eggs and chopped marzipan. Mix until evenly distributed, then stir into the butter mixture. Stir in the flour in portions. Add cocoa powder to taste. Spoon the batter into a piping bag fitted with a star tip and pipe even stripes onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake for approximately 10 minutes. This batter will fill 2 to 2.5 baking sheets. Let the cookies cool, then use the jam to stick them together, two at a time. Finally, dip the tips in the chocolate glaze.
