Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g spelt flour, finely ground
  • 70 g almonds, ground
  • 100 g honey
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. clove powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Mix the spelt flour with the almonds. Add the remaining ingredients and knead into a smooth dough. Cover the dough and chill for about 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat) and grease the baking sheet. Form two 3 cm thick rolls of dough. Cut off small pieces with a knife and shape them into nutmeg-sized balls. Place these on the baking sheet and press down with a wide-toothed fork to resemble bear paws. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes and let them cool.
