Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 large cauliflower
  • 2 liters of salt water
  • 375 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 1 bunch parsley, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 2 eggs
  • Butter for the mold
  • 2 beefsteak tomatoes
  • salt and pepper
  • 20 g butter
  • 150 g cream
  • 50 g cheese, grated
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Clean the cauliflower. Bring the salted water to a boil, then cook the cauliflower for 20 minutes until al dente. Remove and drain well. Mix the minced meat, onion, parsley, pepper, salt, paprika, and 1 egg well and season to taste. Grease a baking dish well. Wash the tomatoes, slice them, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place the drained cauliflower in the center of the baking dish and surround it with the tomatoes. Cut the butter into small pieces and add them to the cauliflower. Spread the minced meat mixture over the tomatoes. Mix the cream with the egg, grated cheese, salt, and pepper, season to taste, and pour over the minced meat mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat, fan: 170°C) for approx. 25 minutes.
