Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 small garlic clove(s)
  • 1 bunch of soup vegetables
  • 100 ml white wine
  • 1 kg soup meat, beef
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4 grains allspice
  • 10 black peppercorns
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 ½ liters of water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

Peel the onion and garlic, and trim the vegetables. Roughly dice everything and sauté vigorously in the oil. Deglaze with the white wine. Pour in 1.5 liters of water, add the meat, spices, and salt, bring to a boil, and simmer over low heat for 1.5 hours. Strain the broth through a sieve and season to taste. The broth can then be used as a base for other dishes. Or you can chop the meat into small pieces and add it back to the broth to make a beef soup.
