Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 50 g butter, soft
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 50 g semolina
  • 30 g cheese, grated
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Aromat

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

as a soup garnish

Place the butter and egg in a bowl and whisk until well blended. Add the semolina and cheese and stir in. Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and flavoring, and season to taste. Bring a pan of salted water to a boil. Use 2 teaspoons to scoop out individual dumplings and place them in the boiling salted water (test one for a while; if it falls apart, add more semolina to the batter). Let the dumplings simmer in the water for 15 minutes below boiling point, then remove and add them to the soup.
