Beef Pudding with Herbs, Cream Cabbage and Potatoes

Beef pudding with herbs:

Creamed cabbage:

  • 3 Kohlrabi approx. 1.5 kg / cleaned approx. 1 kg
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 5 Trowels Kohlrabi cooking water
  • 1 cups Cooking cream 200 g
  • 4 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • 4 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill
  • 2 big pinches Pinches of nutmeg

Potatoes

  • 1000 g Potatoes
  • 1 tsp Salt

Beef pudding with herbs:

Creamed cabbage:

  1. Peel the kohlrabi generously, quarter it, cut into slices, cook in salted water (1 teaspoon salt) for about 10 minutes, drain and collect the cooking water. Melt butter (2 tbsp) in a hot pot, sprinkle flour (2 tbsp) over it while stirring constantly (burn in!) And deglaze / pour on the cooking water with approx. 5 ladles. Add / stir in the cooking cream (1 cup 200 g) and season with coarse sea salt from the mill (4 big pinches), colored pepper from the mill (4 big pinches) and nutmeg (2 big pinches). Put the cooked kohlrabi slices in the sauce and briefly heat everything.

Potatoes:

  1. Peel the potatoes, wash them, chop them roughly, cook in salted water (1 teaspoon salt) for about 20 minutes and drain.

Serve:

  1. Serve beef patties with herbs, cream kohlrabi and potatoes.
