Beef schnitzel in pastry

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 steak(s), extra thin sirloin steak
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard or Löwen-
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • Salt, sparingly
  • Pepper, plenty
  • 1 tbsp oil

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

another quick single recipe

Crack the egg in a small bowl, whisk it with the flour and salt. Brush one side of the meat slices with mustard and dip them in the flour and egg mixture. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a pan and briefly fry the schnitzel on one side with the lid closed. Turn the schnitzel over and cook uncovered for about 2 minutes, then season with pepper. Serve with potatoes and beans with bacon or salad.
