Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 1 leg of beef
  • 1 bunch of soup vegetables
  • ½ head of cauliflower
  • 2 liters of water, approx.
  • Beef broth, instant
  • Maggi
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Bring the beef and finely chopped vegetables to a boil in hot water with a teaspoon of salt and a pinch of pepper. Be careful! When it boils, it foams up quickly. I skim off the foam with a ladle. Let it simmer for about 2 hours. After about 1 3/4 hours, add the cauliflower florets. When everything is cooked, cut the meat off the bone and season with instant beef broth. Simmer for another 10 minutes. Season to taste with Maggi, if desired.
