Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 piece(s) beef (rib roast)
  • 2 liters of water
  • 4 cubes of stock
  • 1 soup vegetables (2 carrots, celery, parsley, leek)
  • ½ cup(s) pearl barley or rice

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Heat water, add bouillon cubes, then soup vegetables, and finally meat. Simmer everything together for about 1.5-2 hours. Add rice or pearl barley to a separate pot with the bouillon cubes, cooking them softly. Meanwhile, cook the soup garnish in a separate pot until tender (about 20-30 minutes). When the meat is tender, strain the soup through a sieve. Pour it back into the pot and add the soup garnish. Season to taste, adding more bouillon cubes if necessary.
