Beef steak with amaretto sauce and strawberries

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 steak(s), (beef steaks) each 200 g
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 40 g butter
  • 100 ml Amaretto
  • 100 g strawberries, sliced
  • 60 ml cream
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 4 strawberries

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Heat butter in a pan. Coat the steaks in flour and sear in hot butter. When turning the steaks, add the strawberry slices. After about 1 minute, add the Amaretto. Be careful, it can flare up. Remove the steaks, season with salt and pepper. Add the cream and cinnamon to the sauce, and cook for another 2 minutes. Plate the steaks, pour the sauce over them, and serve with fresh strawberries.
