Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 550 g flour, e.g. spelt flour, rye flour, whole wheat flour
  • 200 g oat flakes or spelt flakes
  • 500 ml dark beer
  • 2 packets of dry yeast or 1 cube of fresh yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 200 ml water
  • e.g. fried onions or sunflower seeds
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

quick and easy

Combine all ingredients in a food processor and knead for about five minutes until you have a smooth dough. If the dough feels too dry, add a little more water. Then transfer the dough to a greased loaf pan or bread pan, score several times, and let it rise for about 30 minutes. Preheat the oven and bake the bread at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about one hour.
