Beer Soup

The perfect beer soup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 l Non-Alcoholic beer (
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 4 Egg yolk
  • 6 tbsp Cream
  1. Put the beer in the saucepan and heat it up (I used alcohol-free Kölsch). Add the sugar and don’t forget to stir every now and then.
  1. Mix the cream and egg yolk together, then slowly add a few tablespoons of the beer to the egg yolk one after the other, stirring constantly so that it does not freeze. Then slowly add the beer-egg mixture to the soup and stir, stir until it starts to get a little thicker.
  1. If it is too thin for you, mix some starch with cold water and stir it into the soup. As an insert you can make protein balls (stiff protein with sugar)
