Beetroot Tartar
The perfect beetroot tartar recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Boiled beetroot
- 1 Apple Breaburn
- 3 Anchovies
- 2 tsp Mustard
- 1 tbsp Chopped fresh parsley
- 1 Shallot
- 9 King prawns
- 1 tsp Capers
- Cut the beetroot into fine cubes, finely chop the shallot, peel the apple, remove the core and also cut into fine cubes and put everything together in a bowl.
- Chop the capers, anchovies and parsley and add to the bowl
- Stir mustard, pepper, salt and a little sunflower oil until creamy and stir into the fine cubes and let it steep a little at room temperature.
- Fry the prawns briefly on both sides, arrange the tartare on plates and add the prawns and serve.
- It goes well with toasted baguette slices
