Belgian waffles

  • 2 piece Eggs
  • 0,5 liter Milk
  • 100 g Melted butter
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 300 g Flour
  • 50 g Powdered sugar
  • Spray cream
  • Cooking oil

Bergisch waffles

  • 125 g Butter
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 piece Eggs
  • 250 g Wheat flour
  • 0,5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 180 ml Buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoon Honey liquid
  • 1 Glass Cherry groats
  • Spray cream
  • Cooking oil

Instructions
 

Belgian waffles

  • Mix the flour and baking powder. Make a well and add the salt, sugar, butter and the whole eggs. Mix with the milk slowly until the batter is smooth. Bake waffles with a little oil in the preheated waffle iron. Dust with icing sugar and serve with whipped cream.

Bergisch waffles

  • Mix the soft butter in a bowl with a hand mixer until smooth. Add sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Then add the whole eggs. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir into the batter alternately with the buttermilk. Then add the honey.
  • Bake the waffles with a little oil in the preheated waffle iron. Dust with icing sugar and serve with hot cherry compote and whipped cream.
