- 500 g flour
- 250 g sugar
- 250 g butter
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 egg yolk for brushing

Combine flour, sugar, butter, and 4 egg yolks in a bowl and knead thoroughly. Form the resulting dough into a ball and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight. Remove the dough ball and roll it out with a rolling pin. Cut out cookies, place them on a baking sheet, brush with egg yolk, and bake at 170°C on the middle rack for about 10 minutes.
