Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g potatoes
  • 350 g minced meat
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 eggs
  • 125 ml milk
  • 125 ml cream
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • ½ cucumber(s), sliced
  • 4 tomatoes, in pieces
  • 2 tbsp margarine

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel the potatoes, slice them, and fry them. Make a batter with the meat, one egg, the spices, and chopped onions. Layer the potato slices and meat batter in a greased dish and bake in the oven at 175°C for about 15 minutes. Whisk the milk, flour, and two eggs, add the chopped parsley, and pour over the potatoes. Bake for another 20 minutes, then top with tomato slices and cucumber slices. If you like, you can also serve it with a salted herring.
