Berry ice cream with cinnamon and yogurt

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 350 g mixed berries, frozen
  • ½ lemon(s)
  • 150 ml low-fat yogurt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp liquid honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 hours; Total time approx. 5 hours 10 minutes

Place the berries in a tall container and let them thaw for about 5 minutes. Squeeze 1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Combine the yogurt, cinnamon, honey, and lemon juice, pour into the berries, and blend until smooth. Place the ice cream in the freezer and freeze for about 5 hours. Stir every 30 minutes initially, then every hour to keep the ice cream creamy. Scoop the ice cream into balls using an ice cream scoop. Tip: Refrigerate the ice cream for about 20 minutes before serving to make it easier to portion.
