Biscuit & Co: Almond
The perfect biscuit & co: almond recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 125 g Butter
- 50 g Powdered sugar
- 250 g Flour
- 1 tbsp Milk
- 2 Vanilla sugar
- 1 Egg
- 100 Ground almonds
- Almond sticks
- Zest of half a lemon
For the casting
- 100 g Powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp Cocoa
- 60 g Coconut oil
- Whip the butter, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, milk and egg until creamy. Knead in the lemon zest, flour and almonds. Shape the dough into 4 rolls, wrap in foil and leave to rest in the refrigerator for an hour.
- Cut the dough rolls into 1 cm thick slices and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 160 degrees Celsius (oven preheated). Let cool down. Heat coconut oil, mix powdered sugar and cocoa, slowly stir in coconut oil until a slightly liquid mixture is formed.
- Brush the almonds on one side, sprinkle with the chopped almonds. Let cool down.
