Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 4 tsp instant coffee powder
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)
  • 125 g butter, soft
  • 15 g cocoa powder
  • 15 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • powdered sugar
  • Cocoa powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

Depending on the size of the cookie cutters, this yields approximately 30 – 60 cookies

Makes about 30-60 cookies, depending on the size of the cookie cutters. Mix the flour with baking powder and coffee powder in a bowl. Then add the sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, egg and butter. Quickly knead everything together until you have a smooth dough. Halve the dough. For the dark dough, mix the cocoa, sugar and milk and knead it into one of the dough halves. Wrap the dough halves in plastic wrap and chill for about 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius (180 degrees Celsius fan-assisted). Roll out each dough about 3 mm thick. Then cut out stars or any other desired shape. If you poke a small hole in the center of each star (e.g. with a straw), you can hang the cookies up after they have cooled or wrap them decoratively. Bake the stars in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes. Then let them cool on a wire rack with a baking sheet. Dust the light cookies with powdered sugar and the dark cookies with cocoa.
