Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • n. B. Cake (chocolate cake leftovers), crushed
  • 1 jar cherry(s)
  • starch flour
  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 200 ml cream
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice
  • Chocolate shavings
  • Whipped cream, from a spray can or whipped yourself
  • Cherry brandy for the cake base, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

For the cream, mix together the quark, sugar, vanilla sugar, cream, and lemon juice. Drain the cherries. Collect the juice, bring it to a boil in a saucepan, and stir in a little cornstarch until the juice begins to thicken. Then add the cherries to the pan and heat briefly. If you like, you can also bake the chocolate cake yourself. It can be a regular sponge cake or a chocolate sponge. For flavor, you can also soak the base with kirsch. Now layer everything in a glass: cream, cake, cherries, cream, cake, etc. Finally, add the whipped cream and chocolate shavings for decoration.
