Black Forest Maidli Layered Dessert

The perfect black forest maidli layered dessert recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Ladyfingers
  • 6 cl Kirsch
  • 1 large Sour cherries from the glass
  • 1 packet Custard powder
  • 2 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 2 packet Cream stiffener
  • 400 ml Cream
  • 250 g Mascarpone
  • 150 g Cream yogurt
  • 150 g Cinnamon
  • 200 g Dark chocolate
  1. Place spoon biscuits in a baking dish and sprinkle with kirsch.
  2. Bring the cherries, cherry juice and a little cinnamon to the boil and stir in the pudding powder and 1 packet of vanilla sugar, cool briefly and distribute on the biscuits. Then whip the cream with the cream stabilizer and 1 packet of vanilla sugar until stiff. Fold in the mascarpone and yogurt. Spread on the cherry mixture.
  3. Grate the chocolate and spread on the cream. Cover and chill for at least 4 hours! Then serve and enjoy!
