Blackberry ice cream with yogurt

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 300 g natural yogurt
  • 150 g blackberries
  • 60 g powdered sugar
  • a little lemon peel, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

for the ice cream machine

Place the blackberries in a small bowl and lightly mash with a fork. Mix in the yogurt and powdered sugar, then grate in a little lemon zest. Stir in a little more powdered sugar if desired (the mixture may seem a little too sweet when uncooled, as some of the flavor is lost during freezing). Freeze in an ice cream maker and enjoy immediately. Garnish with fresh blackberries, perhaps marinated in liqueur, and mint or lemon balm.
