Bleed Saeco Picobaristo – How It Works

How to properly bleed your Saeco Picobaristo

If there is too much air in the hot water system of your Saeco Picobaristo, this can quickly result in the coffee machine not being able to build up the necessary pressure. If your coffee maker displays the message “Priming”, follow the next steps.

  • Place an empty container under the coffee outlet, this should be able to hold at least 1.5 liters and fill the water tank.
  • Turn the knob to “hot water” or press the hot water button. The coffee machine should be switched off when doing this.
  • Now the accumulated hot air flows through the hoses until the pressure vessel is vented.
  • Now switch the device back on and press the hot water button again. If hot water comes out, the venting has worked and the error message should have disappeared.
  • If venting once has no effect, try again. Most of the time it takes a few repetitions.
