Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g flour (wheat flour 405)
  • 3 eggs
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • ¼ liter of milk
  • oil
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • some water, warm

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Mix flour, salt and a little sugar with fresh yeast and warm water to make a starter dough, keep warm and let it rise. When the dough has risen to the edge of the bowl, stir with a wooden spoon and add a spoonful of hot milk (the amount is a matter of taste). Then mix in 2 to 3 well-beaten eggs. The dough should then have the consistency of pancake batter, but rather a little thicker. Let the dough rise again. The dough will now rise quickly and can be baked immediately. If it is too thick, add warm milk. Heat a little sunflower oil in a pan and add a ladleful of batter at a time and bake until golden brown.
