Mineral fertilizers for raspberries
To fertilize raspberries, you can buy ready-made mineral fertilizers in an agro-store. For a rich berry harvest, it is recommended to apply nitrogen fertilizers and ammonium nitrate. If the leaves turn yellow early – it is worth applying magnesium.
You can fertilize raspberries in summer with both mineral and organic fertilizers. After berry picking, do not use organic fertilizers – only phosphorus-potassium ones.
Raspberry fertilization with hummus
Spread one bucket of humus per 1 square meter of the raspberry plot. Spread the hummus evenly and bury it in the ground. Such fertilizer can be applied no more than 1 time a month because it attracts pests.
Raspberry fertilizer with bird manure
A good method for farms that keep poultry. Spread bird droppings in a bucket and top it up with water. Leave it in a sunny place for five days. Then dilute the mixture with clean water in a 1:20 ratio. Liberally water raspberry bushes under the root.
Feeding raspberries with cowpea infusion
Fill a bucket one-third full with fresh barnyard milk. Pour water on top and cover. Put in a sunny place for 7 days to ferment the mixture. The mixture is diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10 and poured 10 liters per 1 square meter of raspberry area. Fertilize should be in dry weather.
Feeding raspberries with weeds
Collect fresh weeds and shred them. Nettles are especially good for fertilizing. Fill a bucket with grass by a quarter, add water, and leave it for 10 days. Dilute the finished infusion with water at a ratio of 1:4 and water the raspberries under the root.
