You Didn’t Know That: How to Open Sunflower Oil Correctly

Few people think about the design features of the sunflower oil bottle. Often people either pour it into a glass container with a dispenser or use it as an ordinary bottle.

Proper use of the “ring”

Most people usually throw the white plastic part that provides a seal in the trash. All because they don’t know what the bottle ring is for. Its real purpose may surprise you. Let’s figure out how to use it properly.

So, open the bottle of oil and tear off the white “ring”. Then turn it over with the loop down and insert it into the neck with the slots. You will see that this part now acts as a dispenser. This will greatly reduce your oil consumption. That’s what the ring in the vegetable oil is really for.

Slots in the neck

Another useful detail that not everyone knows about is the special slots. Initially, it may seem that they are needed for a more metered flow of oil, but this is not the case.

The oil manufacturers came up with the idea that a purchased dispenser can be inserted into the neck – which is what the slots in the bottle of vegetable oil are for. The plastic “tendrils” are shaped to lock the dispenser in place on top. This tipster turns an ordinary bottle of oil into a handy kitchen appliance.

What the color of the cap means

Let’s understand what the color of the cap on olive oil means. Usually, this is how the manufacturer indicates what type of use the type of oil is suitable for. For frying, it is better to choose a bottle with a red cap, and for salad dressing – green.

Knowing these simple rules will not only simplify the cooking process but also save money.
