Blue Mold Burger with Caramelized Walnuts and Red Wine Onions

The perfect blue mold burger with caramelized walnuts and red wine onions recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Burger bun
  • 2 tbsp 3-Pfeffer-Soße
  • 0,5 Onion
  • 5 tbsp Red wine
  • Lamb’S lettuce
  • 5 Walnut kernels
  • 4 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Can Williams-Christ pears
  • 50 g Blue cheese
  • 150 g Ground beef
  • Salt and pepper
  • Sunflower oil
  1. Wash the lamb’s lettuce, dice the onion and cut the Williams Christ pear into strips. Season the minced meat with salt and pepper and shape it into a ball. Press it in lightly in the middle.
  2. Cut open the burger bun, coat both halves with a tablespoon each of the 3-pepper sauce. Cover the lower half with a handful of lamb’s lettuce.
  3. Caramelize three tablespoons of sugar and briefly toss the walnuts in it. Then pour some salt over the walnuts and set them aside. In a small saucepan, slowly melt the cheese and keep it warm.
  4. Now fry the meatballs and onions in a little oil in parallel. After a short time, add the wine and a tablespoon of sugar to the onions.
  5. Now layer the onions, meatball, cheese and walnuts on the underside of the burger and cover it with the top half. Good Appetite!
