Boiled Meat, Boiled Beef

The perfect boiled meat, boiled beef recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1000 g Meat, boiled beef or similar
  • 30 g Flour
  • 35 g Butter
  • 1 Bd Soup vegetables
  • 1 Bd Finely chopped parsley
  • 500 g Finely diced potatoes
  • 1 Pc. Onion
  • 2 Pc. Stock cube
  • 1 piece Freshly grated horseradish
  • Soup bones
  1. Fill a saucepan with water so that the meat is covered and add the cleaned and cut soup vegetables, as well as the halved onion and bay leaf to the water. Continue to add the soup bones to the water. Let the whole thing simmer for about 90 minutes. Then the meat should be through. 2.) About 30 minutes before the meat is ready, heat a stock with stock cubes and then add the peeled and diced potatoes to the stock. Add the popped parsley. Simmer for about 20 minutes, until the potatoes are still firm to the bite. 3.) Now melt the butter in a saucepan, add the flour and deglaze with the potato stock until you get a creamy consistency. Season to taste with a little nutmeg and salt, remove from the heat and now add the grated horseradish. Mix the whole thing together and you’re done.
  2. You can cook a great noodle soup with the meat stock. The finished meat (slice) must be divisible with a fork. I hope I haven’t forgotten anything.
