Ingredients

  • 500 g Potatoes mainly waxy
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Salmon steak
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • Sea salt from the mill
  • Sweet paprika powder
  • Hot pink paprika powder
  • Sugar
  • Olive oil
  • Clarified butter

Instructions

  • Wash, peel and cut the potatoes into even cubes. Peel and dice the onion. Put on a pan (preferably an iron pan) and heat the clarified butter. Add the potato cubes and the onion. Season with salt, pepper and the paprika and a pinch of sugar. Now let it sear patiently, stir or swirl and continue to fry. The potatoes take about 25-30 minutes.
  • Just rinse the steaks, pat dry and season with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a pan and add 2 unpeeled cloves of garlic cut in the middle. Avoid the salmon steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side. Let Danack rest again in aluminum foil for about 5 minutes.
  • Arrange the fried potatoes on a plate and place a salmon steak on top of each. Cucumber salad can also be served with it.
