Bolognese sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1,500 g minced meat
  • 3 onions, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 packs of tomatoes, pureed, 500 g each
  • some water as needed
  • some olive oil
  • 2 tsp paprika powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • ½ tube(s) tomato paste

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

for preserving in the oven – for approx. 8 jars

Brown the minced meat in hot olive oil. Add the onions and garlic and cook. Pour in the tomatoes and a little water, then add spices and tomato paste to taste. Bring everything to a simmer. Then, while still hot, pour into prepared jars and seal them—I use about 8 jars. Turn upside down. Then cook in a roasting pan (filled with 2 cm of water) in a hot oven at 150°C for about 35 minutes. I don’t add much spice while cooking, but only when I use the sauce. Then I can spice it up with oregano and cream.
