Minced meat – peppers – sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 20 g bacon, diced (more if desired)
  • 1 onion(s), chopped
  • 1 garlic clove(s), chopped
  • 2 bell peppers, red, diced
  • 250 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 1 pinch(s) of oregano
  • 0.38 liters of meat broth (or 1/4 liter)
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

great with pasta and rice

Heat the oil and bacon cubes. Add the onion and bell pepper and sauté. Add the ground beef and brown thoroughly. Now add the tomato paste and stir in. Pour in the meat broth (1/4 to 3/8 liter) and season with the spices and oregano. Reduce to low heat, stirring occasionally, until thickened, adding a little more liquid if necessary. Serve hot.
