Bottomless Cheesecake with Mandarins

The perfect bottomless cheesecake with mandarins recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Lowfat quark
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 60 g Butter or margarine
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla pudding
  • 2 Eggs
  • 25 g Semolina
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 Can Mandarin oranges
  1. Drain the tangerines.
  2. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff.
  3. Mix the egg yolks with the sugar and butter until frothy.
  4. Mix the grits with the baking powder and mix into the dough together with the custard powder.
  5. Drain the quark and mix in with the mandarins.
  6. Finally, carefully stir the egg whites into the mixture.
  7. Grease a small springform pan (18cm) and sprinkle with flour or breadcrumbs. Pour in the quark mass and bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for 45 minutes. Leave the cake in the switched off oven for another 15 minutes. Then take it out and let it cool down a bit. Do not remove it from the mold until it has solidified.
