  • 3 piece Egg

  • 100 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 50 g Chopped almonds
  • 50 g Raisins
  • 125 g Butter

glaze

  • 125 g Chocolate 80% cocoa
  1. I have illustrated all the work steps. As you can see in the first picture, the cake is not the prettiest. It’s my first tunnel ever. The recipe comes from grandma’s old recipe book and the stollen tastes delicious, you don’t have to let it rest.
  2. Stollen: Process all ingredients into a smooth dough.
  3. Rub butter into a loaf pan and press the stollen dough evenly into the loaf pan.
  4. Bake the Stollen in a preheated electric oven at 175 degrees for about 75 minutes.
  5. Glaze: Heat the chocolate in a water bath until it is liquid. Use a brush to brush the cold stollen with the chocolate and let it set.
  6. Cut the stollen and enjoy. Good Appetite
  7. Some say that a Stollen without lemon peel and co. Is not a real Christmas Stollen. But we like it best “without”. The tastes are just different.
