Ingredients

  • 50 g Butter half-fat - milk half-fat
  • 200 ml Warm water
  • 500 g Spelt flour
  • 1 packet Dry yeast
  • 2 tsp Brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 250 g Low fat quark
  • Sesame and flax seeds or other grains / seeds
  • Flour for the work surface
  • Milk
  • Box shape
  • Parchment paper
  • Oil

Instructions

  • Put the butter in the warm water.
  • Mix the flour with yeast, mix the sugar, salt, quark and water-butter mixture in a mixing bowl and knead well with a food processor / mixer with kneading dough. I took the bread maker! 😉 Let rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes!

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees!

  • Flour the work surface and pour the dough on it, roll it out and brush with a little milk and sprinkle with sesame and linseed! Roll up!
  • Oil the box shape and line the base with parchment paper. Carefully put in the bread roll and press down a little. Brush again with some milk and sprinkle with sesame and flaxseed!
  • Bake the bread for about 30 minutes, then take it out of the mold and bake for another 15 minutes!
