Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 500 g chestnuts, sweet chestnuts, in vacuum
- 3 tbsp butter
- ⅛ liter vegetable broth
- ⅛ liter sweet cream
- salt and pepper

Chestnuts – Vegetables
Unwrap the chestnuts and break them apart. Melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the chestnuts for about 10 minutes. Top up with the vegetable stock. Add the cream and simmer gently for another 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. If you like, you can thicken it with a little cornstarch, but since some chestnuts tend to fall apart when sautéed, this is actually quite creamy.
