Ingredients for 6 servings:
- ¼ liter vinegar
- ⅛ liter of hot water
- 250 g sugar
- ½ tbsp salt
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 onions
- 3 carnations
- 1 tbsp lard (goose fat)
- 2 apples (Boskop)
- 1 head of red cabbage
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Red cabbage in a pressure cooker
Heat the goose fat and layer it in the pressure cooker with the chopped red cabbage, apples, and onions. Add water, vinegar, and spices. Cook in the pressure cooker for 8 minutes. Done!
