Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Peel the boiled potatoes from the previous day and slice them (approx. 1-1.5 cm). Sauté the diced onion and chopped parsley (amount according to taste and preference) in fat. Now grease an ovenproof dish and layer the ingredients. Season the potato slices with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and thyme. Then add some of the onion and parsley mixture and cover with Gouda cheese. Repeat these layers. Finally, add a thicker layer of cheese. Bake in the preheated oven at approx. 180°C for 15-20 minutes. A glass dish is best for seeing when the cheese has melted throughout. It’s a very filling dish!
