Sour cream potatoes with mountain cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g potato(s), waxy
  • 300 g sour cream
  • salt and pepper
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 sprig(s) rosemary
  • Caraway seeds
  • 2 shallots, cut into strips
  • 2 clove(s) garlic, chopped
  • 80 g mountain cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Boil the potatoes in salted water, peel them, and halve or leave them whole, depending on their size. Mix the sour cream with salt and pepper. Fry the potatoes in hot butter with the rosemary until golden brown, season with salt, pepper, and caraway seeds, and place in an ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with shallots and garlic, spread the sour cream on top, and sprinkle with the mountain cheese. Bake in the oven at approximately 200°C for 20 minutes.
