Braised Leek Mediterranean

The perfect braised leek mediterranean recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 6 Leek sticks
  • 500 ml Vegetable stock
  • 3 Bay leaves
  • 4 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 tbsp Dried tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp Black olives
  • 3 tbsp Capers
  • Salt and pepper
  1. I found this recipe in relevant literature and was just curious. I made the stock myself (cut the onion in half and put the roasted aromas on the bottom of the pot with the cut surface. Then pour in water and let the leeks, carrots, celery, peppercorns and thyme steep, finally salt). Wash the leek and cut it lengthways and simmer it together with all the ingredients in a baking dish and in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for a good 25 minutes. We had the party baguette with it (not vegan !!!!!!) Conclusion: It doesn’t always have to be meat or fish. My menu is richer by a very tasty recipe. Enjoy it too ……
