Braised Steaks with Cabbage Vegetables

- 2 Pork steaks
- Steak seasoning
- 0,5 Fresh white cabbage
- 1 tablespoon Caraway seeds
- 0,125 liter Vegetable broth
- Salt
- 2 tablespoon Apple lard
- I had a doctor’s appointment and knew that it would take a long time, so I prepared the food 1 day in advance so I only had to warm it up and boil potatoes.
- Cut or slice the cabbage into thin slices, heat the lard in the pan and add the cabbage, the caraway seeds and the salt. And stir gently, then add the stock and stew the cabbage in the juice.
- Wash the steaks, possibly remove the bones, season well and sear them, then place them between the cabbage and cook until the cabbage is done.
- Put everything in the cold and warm up the next day and enjoy with boiled potatoes
