Braised tomatoes on bread

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 slice(s) bread(s), square
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 slice(s) cheese
  • 4 slice(s) cucumber(s)
  • n. B. Pepper, black
  • 4 tomato slices
  • n. B. herbal salt
  • some onion rings
  • some fat

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Heat the fat in a pan over medium heat. Wash and remove the blossom ends from the tomatoes and slice them. Place them in the hot fat, fry for about 2 minutes, then turn and reduce the heat to the lowest setting. After another 2 minutes, the tomatoes are ready. In the meantime, place the slice of bread on a plate. Mix the mustard with the cream cheese and spread it on the bread. Tip: If using larger, round slices of bread, increase the ingredients or topping quantities accordingly. Place the cheese slice on the spread, arrange the cucumber slices on top, and sprinkle with pepper. Place the braised tomato slices on top of the cucumbers, season with herb salt and a few onion rings. Garnish the tomato bread and serve.
